About
We launched designalter®YOU, our online educational platform, with the same mission that our group was founded. This time, our objective is to transfer our knowledge and expertise. Through different modalities of participation, we intend to promote high-impact transformational projects around the world. Our aim as an institution is to be pioneers in academic, practical, and interdisciplinary training through the application of alternate approaches and design strategies and processes as triggers for technologically based solutions.

Organizational Structure
Center for Academic Development
The operating, coverage channels and content production is elaborated at the center- Throughout the year, the centers feeds the Academic Track and the Entrepreneurship Track carries out tailor-made research based programs.
Center for Strategic Alliances
Designalter aims to expand educational offerings and complement existing academic programs with educational, business, government, and specialized associations. This, through agreements where resources, efforts and information are shared.
The Research Center
The research has various purposes, methodologies and approaches that allow to sharpen the intellect in the tasks of reason, understanding and argumentation on a very specific field of knowledge and BUILD the conditions necessary to resist the status quo.
Our Work
is based on the application of ALTERNATE approaches, design strategies and new production processes and methods.
Our Teaching Philosophy
DYOU has developed a multi-faceted curriculum with an approach that weaves together creative, social, business, and technology-based perspectives. We believe in the power of the tangible application of knowledge.
We do not see that our role is to provide solutions, but to reformulate problems, thus allowing different pedagogical scenarios to coexist, simultaneously. The participant and the mentor, together, are partners in a discovery process.
A message from the director:
As we face an increasingly febrile future, it is vital to do something out of order. For that to happen, education has to urgently be transformed. Education has long been biased towards narrow forms of academic ability. The result is that it largely disregards the marvellous diversity of human talents and interests.
The reach of digital technologies is the best recent evidence of our capacities for collaboration. Digital technologies are also changing the context in which we educate people, and what we are educating them for. They can help us make education more vibrant, collaborative and with a strong emphasis in impacting a great variety of communities around the world.
dYOU becomes an effort to promote alternative ways to receive and process pertinent information, so it can become one of your most valuable assets. Each of the offerings values the social dimension, practical learning and the prominent placement we give to the arts and sciences in order to make education more organic, elastic and less formulaic. At dYOU, we do have the experience, the tools and the talents. We just need to stir the motivation, vision and optimistic commitment in YOU.
