*This course is currently offered in Spanish. Learn to understand how the making of a social or purpose oriented brand can become a rich experimental environment for designers and other related and non-related professions. More than design, the participant learns to reflect core values and forge critical connections in order for the brand to convey a strong message. The best way to achieve positive results is to create a series of touch points. Every time a designer or a participant “touches" a product or service, he or she engages in a scripted and meaningful part of the overall story of a brand. Our touch point comes in the process of making a model, a codified intellectual construction that, by assigning meaning to said object, creates an emotionally-charged, highly-impactful experience. The social brand comes in a form of a service, a product, an experience, an event, a space or a territory. It also becomes a cultural expression with impressive cross-disciplinary range and the power to foster a growing web of partnerships, friendships and ongoing projects among target commercial environments with purpose oriented business models.
